HELP! GATES OF VIENNA HAS BEEN REMOVED!
If anyone sees this, please help us find out why Gates of Vienna has been removed. When I got on the dashboard only Neighborhood of God was still here. It is as though Gates of Vienna never existed. Oh my God.

It was such a relief to see the blog suddenly appear again...Blogger taketh away and then gives back with no rhyme or reason.
Yes, we're working on moving to another site so this can't happen again. Or if it does, it won't be crucial since we'll have another site.
We do keep GoV backed up, so that part is covered. Losing our archives would be sad.
Blogger is problematic, but the price is right - which is why so many of us stay here. However their habit of forcing template changes whether one wants them or not is annoying.
I think their incorporation of Java into the system caused this latest meltdown in some way. Since they never give out information, we'll never know. However, I heard reports that a number of blogs went down, and not just controversial ones like ours.
Thanks for your concern everyone. It's a relief to have *that* crisis behind us.
